The Foundation for Pluralism is a
nongovernmental, non-profit and nonpartisan organization, founded in March
1994, which promotes political, cultural and ethnic pluralism, independent
press and market economy.

FfP is a member
of the Centers for Pluralism Network, founded by the Institute for Democracy in Eastern Europe (IDEE), which includes nongovernmental organizations from Central
and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

In 1997 FfP
has established a partnership with the
German Marshall Fund of The United
States, through which the Marshall Memorial Fellowship Program
is run; the program targets young politicians, journalists, opinion
leaders and entrepreneurs.

Since 1996 FfP is the Romanian
partner of the American Council for
Young Political Leaders, with which it runs a program of study
visits for young American and Romanian young politicians.
