nongovernmental, non-profit and nonpartisan organization, founded in March
1994, which promotes political, cultural and ethnic pluralism, independent
press and market economy.

FfP is a member
of the Centers for Pluralism Network, founded by the Institute for Democracy in Eastern Europe (IDEE), which includes nongovernmental organizations from Central
and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Since 1996 FfP is the Romanian
partner of the American Council for
Young Political Leaders, with which it runs a program of study
visits for young American and Romanian young politicians.

In 1997 FfP has established a partnership
with the German Marshall Fund of The
United States, through which the Marshall Memorial Fellowship
Program was run; the program targeted young politicians, journalists,
opinion leaders, NGOs’ representatives and entrepreneurs. Starting
with March 2009, the MMF is running by the Black Sea Trust for
Regional Cooperation in Bucharest.
